It’s not uncommon for someone to choose their favourite pop, rock or country song for an audition. Somer Smith chose an old anthem for her blind audition on The Voice in Australia.
Classic anthems can be difficult to perform, but Somer seems to find her performance effortless.
Her breathtaking voice fills the auditorium as she begins to sing. Somer hadn’t even finished the first verse before the three judges turned around. Impressed by her incredible talent, they all wanted to mentor her during the show.
It didn’t take long for the last judge to turn around. Somer had to choose which team she would join. While we don’t know who she chose in the music video, one can’t help but wonder how far this talented girl will go in the music industry.
