The Illinois Animal Care Centre received an emergency call. Residents noticed a dog entangled in a fence. A chain was unnaturally tightened around its neck.
The baby was silent, but you could see how much pain this posture was causing her
Her attempts to unchain herself led to worse consequences, so when the rescuers arrived, the dog was sitting motionless. She was slowly but gently released, the dog’s happiness was overwhelming.
Belle — that’s the name of the rescued puppy, she suffered a lot. There was no blood in her paw for a long time, besides, the dog was very hungry
At the shelter there is recovery, lots of food, and a search for a loving family waiting for her!
